The Nest Hotel, renowned for our exquisite menu and delectable treats at morning and afternoon tea is one of the few hotels in South Africa that still offers the Table d’hôte Menu.
Our tariff includes breakfast and dinner, served in our main restaurant, as well as morning and afternoon tea served on the terrace. Lunch is excluded from our rate and we offer an a la Carte Terrace menu for those who are not out exploring the Champagne Valley.

Table d’hôte, literally translated as “table of the host” is a multi-course meal with a number of options for each course. The concept began hundreds of years ago in France where a group of guests would find themselves sitting at a common table and gracefully accepting what had been prepared. The idea has long since evolved, and it has been one of the Nest Hotel’s unique offerings since inception.

Our courses usually consist of two choices with a vegetarian option for those with special dining requests. We do recommend that you enquire in advance for specific meal requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We have a passion for good food and welcome you to come and dine at The Nest Hotel.

Outside visitors are welcome too and we only ask that you make a reservation in advance.

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN : Early dinners for young children / toddlers can be arranged upon request. Please let us know in advance and we will gladly accommodate your needs.

Chef’s very special Kitchen Garden

We have our very own kitchen garden that sprang to life during the early days of lock down, a concept that was developed by our talented Chef Mpilo. We are delighted to serve you the freshest produce straight from our loving tended garden

If you are looking for a treat to celebrate a special occasion, Sous Chef Mandy creates some impressive cakes! She is also the reason your jeans fit more snuggly around your waist. Honestly, most guests find it hard to resist her royally luxurious treats served for dessert. We will need some advance notice if you require a special cake baked for your celebration, so please email us your requirements at least a week before your visit.
