At The Nest Hotel, nestled in the heart of tranquility, a remarkable event unfolded from October 20 to 22. This special occasion was none other than the empowering Women’s Retreat, where renowned host Ilona Potgieter guided participants on a transformative 3-day journey of self-discovery. The retreat aimed to reshape how individuals perceive and experience life, instilling a newfound love for life and kickstarting a healthier journey for both body and soul. This retreat did more than offer a mere escape; it provided a fresh perspective on life itself.
Ilona Potgieter has been a teacher and trainer for over 20 years and has worked with children from grade 1 up to grade 12. She has been a guest and motivation speaker at women’s events and year end functions, as well as furthering her education as NLP Practitioner and Life Coach.
On noticing that so many children and adults are living in survival mode and in a mentality of lack, Ilona started to host workshops and retreats to equip people to change their lifestyles, mode of thinking around health, exercise and discover their purpose in life.
The Retreats address issues around anxiety, depression, fear, anger, loss, hopelessness, low self-esteem, trust, health and purpose. Combined into the program is natural ways to be healthy with the use of ancient techniques such as Qigong, Yoga and Tai Chi as options and also Breathwork, Grounding and Meditation.
“I believe every person on earth deserves to live a full, healthy and optimal life and my dream is to change the world by changing one person at a time to make a difference in the world.”
