Welcome to the new Farmers Market in the Central Drakensberg – The Farmers Lawn. Upon arriving at the crossroad that leads you to the Central Drakensberg, is a new kid on the block. Located diagonally across from Thokosiza on selected Saturdays is The Farmers Lawn. It is the Central Drakensberg first-ever permanent artisanal market.
Retail Therapy for the whole family at the Farmers Market
The Farmers Lawn welcomes everyone, including fur babies. Offering free secure onsite parking for a stress-free shopping experience. Expect to find local produce, bespoke goods and services, an eatery, and a beer garden. There is certainly something for everyone and remember local food and supplies support local families!
The Nest Hotel is excited to share this new experience with you! No more than a 10-minute drive from the hotel, heading towards Winterton on the R600. Just after the crossroad, on the left-hand side is Gourton’s Corner and this is where you will find the Farmers Lawn. Please check them out on Facebook where they will announce their dates. Look out for their new sign that lists upcoming market dates.
